INKY WOOH'S APPROACH TO TRAVEL

This blogspot is about exploring and travelling to explore. Many readers seeing this site for the first time may be inclined to travel to sit on the beach, sun and rest. This blogspot is not for you though sometimes Inky will explore beaches. Most times Inky has not enough patience to sun.

When I was your age!

A boy was unhappy because his grandpa, who was looking after him while his parents were away, would not drive him to school. The old man turned to his grandson and said, "Listen son, you should not complain. Why, when I was your age I had to walk all the way home at lunch time from school and that was more than a half hour each way, and I could walk four miles in an hour." The young lad looked him straight in the eyes and replied, "You are right Grandpa, it sure is good that they serve fast food at the school so I won't have to complain when I am your age about how far I had to walk for a meal." Grandpa looked at him and smiled knowingly, "It wasn't all that bad son, because that was when I would watch a movie on TV for half and hour after eating my lunch and then run to school, and still be on time."

Keep going until you drop!

If you can, it's best to make it a long walk, so keep going!

Notice others having fun

You are walking along your pathway in life and you see others keenly interested in theirs. Take note!

Soft and protected paths are best

It's nice to walk on leaves or grass and out of the wind and away from the heat of the sun.

Sometimes you have to dig a way through the hedges in your path

Going off the beaten pathway is not wrong, but builds character!

Be sure to have a good view

It's one thing to have a pathway, but views are created by taking a high route with a splendid open aspect. This applies even when you are on a coast!

Finding a pathway

No matter where you are, you need to find a pathway going to a place you want to be so that you can do what you want to do.
